Lincoln Suites Downtown is, quite obviously, located in the heart of Washington D.C.'s downtown area, close to all the best attractions the capitol city has to offer.
Recently renovated, this hotel was voted the best moderately priced hotel in D.C. by Frommers in 2002. Dubbed a boutique hotel, the guest rooms at the Lincoln Suites are certainly larger than those of many similarly titled hotels.
This is an ideal choice for families as each suite offers a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, and coffee maker, so keeping milk or formula cold is simple and its easy to prepare a quick meal or snack.
Guests will also enjoy free continental breakfast every morning and can end their day with scrumptious cookies and milk served in the hotel's spacious lobby each evening. Several package deals are offered that may include such perks as tickets to the Kennedy Center or the National Zoo.
There are 30 restaurants located within just a few blocks of the hotel, including 2 onsite, and though there are 2 Metro stations nearby, favored attractions like the Smithsonian Institution museums are within easy walking distance.
