Washington‘s Holiday Inn Capitol notes that it has been "reinvented from the inside out", touting its recent renovation that‘s taken place throughout most of the hotel. The 532 guest rooms and 13 suites have been given a beautiful updated look as has the lobby, lounge, and the onsite restaurants.
This hotel is indeed in the middle of all the action. Almost everything you‘ll want to see is within easy walking distance of the hotel, including the new Museum of the American Indian. If you‘d prefer to ride instead of walk, the famous Washington D.C. Tourbus stops right outside the Holiday Inn Capitol. When you‘re through sightseeing, you and your family can enjoy the rooftop pool (in season), the exercise room, gift shop, and the hotel‘s two restaurants, The Shuttle Express Deli, which includes Starbucks and Pizza Hut and Smithsons, a full-service restaurant that serves all three meals.
