First Night is an alcohol-free event that welcomes children, families, and revelers of all ages to celebrate community and unity through the arts.  This is the place where you can enjoy the best local entertainers, great family fund and fantastic fireworks display.  It is the area's best way to ring in the New Year!

This year, First Night is celebrating its Tenth Year!  This is the area's best New Year's Eve party.  The streets of Old Town become a stage where dancers, singers, magicians and fireworks are part of one gigantic celebration geared to children and their families.  On that stage, you will also see classic fiddler Bonnie Rideout, rockabilly singer Bill Kirche, clowns, dancers, magicians and fireworks at midnight!  And these are only a few of the highlights of the entire day's program.  For a list of all events, click here
