A Class Act – Acting for Young People (AFYP) celebrated its tenth anniversary year in 2007.
Sponsored by the City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts and Fairfax County’s Theater of the First Amendment, AFYP brings professional-level acting training to Northern Virginia families in a supportive and fun environment, offering weekend classes, Summer Arts Camps, after school programs, scout badge workshops, private and business coaching, and more. AFYP’s teaching artists are working professionals in the industry. Our sister organization, AFYP Stages, provides new plays for young audiences and their families (school tours and public performances).
