Washington DC Leesburg Animal Park, in suburban Leesburg, VA, is a small facility just right for younger children. There are plenty of animals to pet and feed and families can also enjoy pony rides, a wagon ride, and entertaining live animal shows.
The park continues to add animals to its menagerie and currently is home to about two dozen species, ranging from rabbits to buffalo and everything in between. There are even some famous animals at the Leesburg Animal Park as a number of them have been used in productions at the Kennedy Center. The park holds special festivals during the seasons of the year, including a fall pumpkin festival throughout October and November. |
