Overview

Family Zoo-Fari - no you are not on the hunt for the wild ones in your house. Instead, this is a chance for you and your family to explore zoo and animals when the sun goes down.

 

If you have ever wondered what happens at a zoo when everyone leaves, now is your chance to find out.   Spend the night with the lions and tigers and camels, oh my! Well, you may not get to sleep next to them in their homes, but you may hear them while you sleep.   Who says you have to travel half-way around the world for a safari? Just head to Catoctin Preserve and Zoo for an up close and personal experience.

 

Start your overnight zoo excursion with check-in and a picnic dinner. Animal-adventure seekers can’t head out on an empty stomach. Then, get ready for a fun night of activities and games, followed by a zoo tour at twilight.

 

And what outdoors sleepover is complete without a campfire? Yep, that’s right get ready for roasted marshmallows and stories around the fire before bed. Kids, grab your tent and sleeping bag, flashlight and bug spray and head to Catoctin for night of fun and adventure most only dream about. Oh, and don’t forget to bring a parent too!
