White House Easter Egg Roll

Location:  White House
Time: March 28

Cost:  FREE

Overview

The White House has always known how to throw a party.  And this one is no exception.  Children will be delighted to hunt down edible eggs in various colors with the purpose of rolling them down the White House Lawn and see how far they will go. As a souvenir of the memorable occasion, they will take wooden eggs that have been previously autographed by some of the leader of our country. This tradition began in 1878.  Themes have changed each year, but the hunt remains as the same wholesome fun over a century.

Although the event is free of charge, tickets are a must.  They will be available on March 26 starting at 7:30am at the Ellipse Visitors Pavilion.  One child under age 7 must be with each group, and only two adults per group allowed.

Use Washington, D.C. kids and make Washington, D.C. fun for the kids...and you!
