Spirit of America. Start up the band! Spirit of America is coming to town and promises a rousing performance that will have kids marching in place and playing imaginary trumpets. The free, live-action show is presented by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington and features more than 400 soldiers of the Army’s elite ceremonial units.
Traditional and modern music mix with drill routines and narrative as the soldiers relive the history of our country. It’s inspiring for the adults and just plain entertaining for all ages. Spirit of America tells a story through music and dramatization.
Your kids, and you, will be in awe of the generations of soldiers who have left family behind to protect and defend the United States. The program commemorates their brave actions and sacrifices and shows us all the true cost and value of freedom.
