KidSpy Camp

Location: International Spy Museum
Time: July 14, 9am-3pm

KidSpy Camp is the perfect activity for young James (and Jane) Bonds, ages 9-13. This one-day camp gives kids a taste of what the spy life is like in reality rather than in the movies.

Participants learn how to make codes, and how to break and read them. They learn all about surveillance, how to watch someone who is watching them, and how to make a concealment device.

Other lessons include how to decide on the best disguise, how to create it and how to wear it. Kids learn how to become someone else using an alias, how to create a cover story that will hold water, and much more, including how to work with a team, the art of observation, and the skills of critical thinking and analysis.

After recruit training, the junior spies get their very own secret mission that will test their brains and their skills. The Camp includes lunch for all the junior spies, and sends them home with their own set of tools, so watch out for covert operations around the house.

KidSpy Camp is unique, fantastic fun, and even if a child doesn’t grow up to become a spy, the thinking, observation and teamwork skills learned here will last for a lifetime.
