Overview

Washington’s The Borrowers is a very big tale about very tiny people. Put the little people on your list on notice that a big show is coming up.

The tale revolves around Arietty, who seems to be the last of her race, those tiny people who live under the floorboards and borrow those items that just seem to disappear.

She is determined to find her long-lost relatives, and breaks the cardinal rule by letting herself be seen by a human.

To make matters worse, she befriends a boy.

Arietty’s behavior sets in motion an adventure of epic proportions.

This performance is for kids ages four and older, and they will be captivated by this tale of tiny people who borrow from the larger humans in the world.

Take your gang to the show to find out if Arietty finds her family and if the Borrowers survive to carry on the tradition of making small things disappear.
