Overview

Washington, D.C.’s National Capital Barbecue Battle is once again set to simmer on June 24th and 25th, so get ready for some fabulous food and a whole lot of fun.
 

 

No matter how you spell it, barbecue is among the nation’s favorite foods, and you’ll find it in every style imaginable at this much appreciated event.

Teams and restaurants from around the country come to compete for more than $25,000 in cash and prizes, and most
important, the title of National Pork BBQ Champion.

 

This means fantastic food for you and yours.

 

Benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs and DC Doubledutch, you’ll get to have a great time and support some great organizations at the same time.
 

Use the opportunity to enlighten your kids about those who may not have all the advantages they do. You can get up and boogie too, to Rock, R & B, Jazz and the blues—the perfect way to work off some of those lunch time calories.

Cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, special
exhibits and a kids’ area round out the fun. You and your kids will be feeling full and fabulous at this porkalicious event.
